While in our care, your child will be in a developmentally appropriate program that will encourage growth and development in the areas of language, cognition, social/ emotion, sensory, and motor skills (gross and fine). Each week there will be books and activities that follow a set theme, and your child will be given opportunities for individual and group activities, indoor and outdoor play, free/ exploratory play, and art and music. We will have a schedule that we will follow, but not strictly. Little learners are, after all, very young. They dictate when they are hungry, need rest, need extra cuddle time, need changed, etc, so we follow their lead.
Our preschool solidifies foundation development, such as letters, numbers, shapes, colors, early math, socialization, and interaction with other children.
We introduce the child to the organized learning environment while making it fun and exciting. Word recognition, name writing, letters, and numbers are all part of this program. This age group is vital to the preparation of the future years within the school system.
Before and After School Care
The Before School Care program is from 7:00 am until school begins. We provide a safe, fun and educational environment first thing in the morning. Breakfast is served prior to leaving for school. The After School Care program helps working parents by offering quality childcare that is inexpensive and fun for the kids. The program includes snacks, tutoring, and plenty of fun activities. Hours are from dismissal of school until 6:00pm. We provide care for full days when school is not in session, unless stated in the registration packet.
Meets the needs of working parents by offering child care from 7:00am-5:30pm Monday thru Friday throughout the summer. Children will have fun playing in water activities, going on field trips, doing crafts, and playing all kinds of character building games and activities. We collaborate with our local library for reading programs throughout the summer to keep children prepared for the upcoming school year.
